The absurdity of those female uniforms. Miniskirts and go go boots to explore the galaxy and confront hostile conditions and aliens. The male uniforms are absurd as well. Even when they beam down to cold planets, there's nary a coat to be seen. The uniforms for The Cage were much more believable and also showed greater parity between the sexes. In The Cage, they also take realistic equpment packs, not just a phaser, tricorder, and communicator. The Cage is superior to the actual series that came after, and Pike a more convincing captain than Kirk.
It's worth remembering that Nichelle Nichols (a famous advocate for the Patriarchy and female submissiveness, right?) often said that her scant TOS uniform was, by far, the most comfortable thing she ever wore on the show. That was it. She said that she never felt exploited or a victim of sexism. Because she wasn't. After all, the most sexist cultures on the planet are the ones that make women cover themselves.
Imagine for a moment if George Lucas had been the director. He would have said, "In the space there is not underwear", according to his spacial philosophy
Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Her 5-year mission: To expose cute female bottoms, to seek out and reveal ever-rounder derrieres, to boldly go where many men have gone before!!
I may not be remembering correctly at all, and I have no idea what episode it would have been, but I think in one of the episodes featuring a primitive planet, an actress playing one of the people on the planet was briefly seen going commando.
This was the 1960s. Mini skirts were a must! I remember looking through my older brother's yearbook and most of the girls had miniskirts on! Hard to believe that some even went commando….

Great legs can make bad acting irrelevant, as several of these prove.
Awesome! My Booster is in Orbit!

No wonder William Schatner had such a big libido. I wouldn't have had any rest to!! :p
This has saved me spending literally HOURS trawling through old Star Treks.
Oh, they're wearing shorts. Cool. I thought that was a 90s innovation – Star Trek was ahead of its time in anticipating creeps like us.
Didn't realise it was so sexist?
The Mary Quant of the 23rd Century
And 3:30 Kirk's wife, Miramani, so hot, and mother to his child, so sad.
0:48 thr very, very best !
Invasion of the Ladies and their PANTIES.
Star Trek is a bit like an intermediate between Batman and Star Wars. Not totally serious, not totally parody. Its naivety has a sort of charm.

Pitiful. Grown men watching a video and behave like teenagers looking at an underwear catalog.
I grew up watching star trek for this reason. couldn't get enough!!
Y'know what's funny – I don't remember seeing any of these when I watched – and trust me, I was looking
I was in love with Yeoman Janice Rand in these series.
Uhura had One almost every week.
Main reason I used to watch this
Some sturdy looking panties there.
Thanks for that. It was a nice trip.
"The Deadly Years" had a short cutie aging into a 90 year old grandma.
Crazy as a kid seeing her in a miniskirt and boots
They’re wearing shorts, not panties, so it isn’t an upskirt.
The kind of thing snickering 12 year olds would find titillating . I know I did.

If the skirts were any shorter , Kirk and Co would have had less fights
All these women if still alive would be in their late eighties or early nineties.
The women in the crew were dressed that way because Gene Roddenberry was a pig.
See the Indian chick "Mirimani" in "Easy Rider" skinny dipping with Captain America and Billy.

This is my kind of video.
